Things you need to know
- You need to be 16 or older to volunteer with us.
- Our volunteers need to be New Zealand citizens, residents, or have a visa for more than two years.
- You must live or work close enough to a volunteer fire brigade so that you can respond to incidents.
- You must commit to regular brigade training. We train on Tuesday evenings from 6:30pm.
- All volunteers must be police vetted.
- All volunteers need to pass a medical check.
